Clear Wood Preservative is a professional protective system designed to improve surface resistance and the final finish while retaining the visible natural character of wood. Listed applications: Furniture, doors, panels, solid wood and suitable wood-based substrates.
For an impregnation product, timber absorbency and existing treatments are important. A product intended to penetrate the pores should not be assessed as though it were a thick film-building varnish. Timber must be clean, dry and appropriately sanded. Dust removal, compatibility with previous filling coats and edge preparation directly affect finish quality. Choose sanding fineness for the product and coating sequence.
Before specifying the product, provide the technical team with the substrate, existing finish, service exposure and intended application method. A representative trial helps establish adhesion and appearance; it does not replace the required system approval for demanding exposure. The term impregnation does not itself certify biocidal protection, a particular service class or suitability for continuous water contact. Confirm the intended protective function and overvarnishing conditions separately.
